Seraphite Destiny by Terry Pratchett - Review

'Seraphite Destiny' by Terry Pratchett - ReviewIn the sequel to one of the best of the Harry Potter series, 'Seraphite Destiny', we have much to look forward to. The storyline is fantastic, and I'm sure if you've read the first book, or even skimmed the first few chapters, you will appreciate this sequel much more than the first book. Let's start off with the characters. The main character of 'Seraphite Destiny' is Emma Watson, Harry's friend and roommate. She's gone from cute, young and full of energy, to a shy and introverted person. There is more romance between Harry and her then there was between Harry and Ron.The other main character in the book is Jason Grace, another popular character in the Harry Potter series. Like Harry, he's also moved on to a new house and a new life. He also does not have a girlfriend as yet. He's the best friend Harry has, but Harry has noticed that he has a secret and strong feelings for a man called David McCallum.Harry also has a new classmate in the series, one named David Whitelaw. David Whitelaw has always been kind of a bumbler, but he's so far out of his depth that he gets the nickname 'Parrot'. It's a nice name, but Harry doesn't think much of it when he learns about it.The last main character is Lily, Harry's best friend in the book. She's a bookworm with an insatiable curiosity and Harry has noticed that she's always where he is and always when he has something to do. She's actually more interesting in this book than in the other two.The third and final character is a secret relationship between Harry and David McCallum. It's pretty obvious, but I'm sure you'll enjoy this one as much as I did.'Seraphite Destiny' is a fantastic book, and if you enjoyed the first book in the series, you're going to love this book. There are some excellent battles, interesting characters, and a good plot. There's a lot to like here.
